Just a helping hand in its latest incarnation has been re-created after conversations whilst on a cycling Trek across China in aid of one the many charities listed on this site. Through general conversations regarding the various ways we raised our sponsorship and the fact that I had created a full website (click here to view). I soon discovered that many participants on the trip had either wanted a website to promote their trips and fundraising or had a website created at some extortionate expense.

It became apparent very quickly that had there been a sensible cost effective solution most would have taken it up which brings us to the present. As I had already spent the last year and a half developing a website solely for this purpose at www.justahelpinghand.co.uk there seemed the perfect vehicle with which to base this service on.

There are already very successful and effective services that offer free pages and the option to collect money for your charity but the pages were only capable of supporting limited information and imagery with any form of updateable Blog service left to be sorted out elsewhere. As I found out early on, most potential sponsors give so much every year and the amazing statistic I ran into was that the average company in the area was approached approximately 3 times a day!

Collecting sponsorship when you have a set target to reach by a certain date is a campaign in itself. We are here to try and aid the process with online advertising and through the ability to offer companies and organizations reciprocal sponsorship in the form of links to there site (technical info. regarding this available) and online Blogs give you the ability to push the effort further than before with your own marketing campaigns.
